Spectators: 7284 (Terracing: 5465, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carolo Johans kicked off to start the match. Ovidio Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Sazon in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Covadonga booed when Balderramas 99 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guaberto Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Aurken kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Patricio Sendoa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Covadonga's Cayetano Bidari quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Carolo Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Johans having to interfere. Alfredo Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Tabby in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Carolo Johans notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Balderramas 99's Ovidio Johans. Ovidio Johans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Simon Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Panfilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Alfredo Estebe made a huge save.

In the 53rd minute, Covadonga's Carolo Johans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 56 minutes into the match, Balderramas 99's goalkeeper Ovidio Johans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Sazon. If Carolo Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Johans made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Guaberto Sazon sent off a good shot on target. In the 60thth minute of the game Carolo Johans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balderramas 99's Ovidio Johans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Sazon got free with Ovidio Johans in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Covadonga's Carolo Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Covadonga's Alfredo Estebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Cordeara in the 73rd minute of play. Iker Panfilo scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Estebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Tabby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Estebe having to interfere. When Guaberto Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Covadonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Sazon couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Johans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Carolo Johans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Johans was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Carolo Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Balderramas 99 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Covadonga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
