But to his dismay, Fidel Bixintxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Mazuste in the 42nd minute of play forced Encrucijada's goalkeeper Romeo Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bernabe Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Argenis made a kick off. Saverio Maju was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Urizar's Enrique Mazuste slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Bartoleme. That made the score 0-2 after 83 minutes of play. When Fidel Bixintxo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Urizar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Bixintxo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Urizar booed when Encrucijada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Encrucijada's Prudencio Jon got a free kick in the 94th minute. Urizar played a much better game than Encrucijada and deserved their victory. The Encrucijada players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
