The referee ignored Club A Huracan's protests and gave Benedicto Sadurni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Benedicto Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Saturnino Charro came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Avellaneda F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Paulo Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Dei in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda F.C.'s Fernando Quintun got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Amadeo Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club A Huracan's Francisco Omero got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Francisco Omero made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Prudencio Dei could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Paulo Gaufred however easily saved by the left post. 62 minutes into the match, Avellaneda F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Gaufred had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Dei. Francisco Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Paulo Gaufred tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Charro in the 70th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Quintyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Salomone was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. If Saturnino Charro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th play minute Prudencio Dei came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Gaufred. 0-2.
