Spectators: 6488 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Zanjón FC's Pastor Artal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Montel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hector Guipuzkoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Montel having to make a save. Vladimiro Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Leopoldo Montel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fulgencio Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the roquefutbolclub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Berasko couldn't finish the play. Zanjón FC's Raul Reno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Berasko in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Berasko in the 23rd minute of play forced Zanjón FC's goalkeeper Raul Reno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leopoldo Montel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Montel having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Vladimiro Palban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Montel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pastor Artal scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Montel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Berasko to strike the kick off in the second half. Pastor Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Montel having to interfere. Zanjón FC's Ruperto Sayveon got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Montel having to interfere. Pastor Artal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Montel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Pastor Artal sped through roquefutbolclub's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Montel. Pastor Artal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Montel came out and tried to block the shot, but Pastor Artal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 76th minute. Pastor Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Montel having to interfere. Leopoldo Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Pastor Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Hector Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. roquefutbolclub's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Vladimiro Palban scored to the left of an out of position Leopoldo Montel, making the score, 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Zanjón FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than roquefutbolclub.
