The supporters of Calmayo FC booed when Mijayi F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calmayo FC's Baltasar Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Claude in the 21st minute of play. Domingos Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Baltasar Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Reno hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efrain Claude to strike the kick off in the second half. Aquiles Cucao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Abad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Domingos Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Higinio Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Domingos Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calmayo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Maureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Mijayi F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Cucao came free, but Eulalio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Baltasar Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Emilio Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baltasar Maria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Salvidor during the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Calmayo FC's Abel Indartsu got a free kick in the 94th minute. Emilio Larpe in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baltasar Maria, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Aquiles Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calmayo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Cucao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
