An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Cucao in the 3rd minute of play forced Samuhi's goalkeeper Fabio Chaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Maria having to interfere. Baltasar Maria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Inguma's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Paulino Ted hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Severino Guerrero's late challenge caught a Calmayo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Samuhi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calmayo FC:s goal. Bernardo Columbo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 22 minutes into the match, Samuhi's goalkeeper Fabio Chaime had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Maureo. In the 23rd match minute, Samuhi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Ted to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Samuhi booed when Calmayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Samuhi's Clemente Inguma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Maria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calmayo FC's Baltasar Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Froylan in the 38th minute of play. Baltasar Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Inguma in the 40th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Samuhi got a corner. Calmayo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niceto Gerazan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Inguma to make the kick off. Domingos Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd match minute, Samuhi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Ted to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Ted charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Ted the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Paulino Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Calmayo FC's Bernardo Columbo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Samuhi's Arturo Froylan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Maria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 67th minute, Clemente Inguma fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arturo Froylan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Maria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calmayo FC's zone, Clemente Inguma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Maria came out of the goal and Clemente Inguma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Maria made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Arturo Froylan sent off a good shot on target. If Domingos Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Aquiles Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Chaime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Calmayo FC's zone, Clemente Inguma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Maria came out of the goal and Clemente Inguma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Dorio scored 0-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Maria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 played minutes Samuhi got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Ted.
