After a defensive mix-up in After Chabón's zone, Patricio Txilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Gabon came out of the goal and Patricio Txilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Christian Olayo put in a rough tackle. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for After Chabón! In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Calmayo FC. Bernardo Columbo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Gabon. 0-1. If Domingos Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Aquiles Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Domingos Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Gauargi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Baltasar Maria made a huge save. Aquiles Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Gabon having to interfere. Gustavo Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Calmayo FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Chale. If Gustavo Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bernardo Abascal came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the After Chabón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Abascal couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Lonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Maria having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gustavo Gauargi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Maria. Baltasar Maria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Gauargi in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Cucao was the one to do the kick off. After Chabón's Gustavo Gauargi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Calmayo FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Indartsu. When Bernardo Abascal came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the After Chabón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Abascal couldn't finish the play. If Gustavo Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Abascal struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Baltasar Maria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for After Chabón. Calmayo FC's Baltasar Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gauargi in the 65th minute of play. Gustavo Gauargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Romeo Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored After Chabón's protests and gave Romeo Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Calmayo FC booed when After Chabón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Maria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gauargi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gustavo Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Baltasar Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Calmayo FC and the After Chabón players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Indartsu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Bernardo Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Gustavo Gauargi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Baltasar Maria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When After Chabón's Gustavo Gauargi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calmayo FC's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Felipe Gabon managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Calmayo FC's Domingos Maureo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domingos Maureo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Felipe Gabon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calmayo FC. Despite being the better team, After Chabón failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
