Nereo Ponciano came out of the goal and Silvio Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Llanos took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Ponciano. Nereo Ponciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Damaso Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Ponciano having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Luis Txurio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Paqueros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Damaso Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Teodoro Iago put in a rough tackle. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Los Paqueros. Conrado Santxol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Omar Orzaize. 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Flavio Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Orzaize. Cassaffousth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Alonzo Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cassaffousth's Silvio Weterio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Bartoli made a kick off. The supporters of Los Paqueros booed when Cassaffousth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Aaron Bartoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Orzaize was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 57th minute, Joaquin Danel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Aaron Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Alonzo Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Bartoli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Orzaize read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Aaron Bartoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Orzaize was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 68 minutes into the game, Los Paqueros's Luis Txurio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Orzaize made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Alfonso Manuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Manuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Alfonso Manuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alonzo Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cassaffousth's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Txurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Cassaffousth's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Txurio came free, but Omar Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 84th minute of the match Alfonso Manuelo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfonso Manuelo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a defensive mix-up in Los Paqueros's zone, Julio Salvator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Ponciano came out of the goal and Julio Salvator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
