Amancio Acuña hit a great ball. Zar Fc's Dirk Leibrandt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Zar Fc from getting a goal against them. After 22 played minutes Zar Fc got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Acuña. Alfonso Gutxi might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Vermudo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Gutxi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Gutxi in the 26th minute of play forced Córdoba's goalkeeper Leon Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Cordearo got free with Dirk Leibrandt in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Vermudo having to interfere. Córdoba's Leon Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Gutxi in the 36th minute of play. Placido Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ladislao Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Alfonso Gutxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Zar Fc's goalkeeper Dirk Leibrandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Cordearo. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alfonso Gutxi made the kick off in the second half. Leon Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ladislao Botello took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Leon Vermudo to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Zar Fc booed when Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romulo Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dirk Leibrandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Justino Rey hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alfonso Gutxi took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Vermudo. Leon Vermudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Erasmo Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Gabirel got free with Leon Vermudo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Gutxi in the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladislao Botello kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon Vermudo. That made the score 0-3 in the 88 minute of play. The Zar Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zar Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
