Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 15thth minute of the game Jose Salamon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nimbus 2000's Osvaldo Lehen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cornelio Amaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Ebardo having to make a save. In the 21st minute Jose Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Lehen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Llorienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Honorato Ebardo made a huge save. Cornelio Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Honorato Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jose Salamon came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Angostura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Salamon couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Lehen came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Angostura FC's Gerardo Reno. But to his dismay, Gerardo Reno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Nimbus 2000's Jairo Lertxun got a free kick in the 44th minute. Osvaldo Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Reno in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Angostura FC booed when Nimbus 2000 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Nimbus 2000's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Reno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Americo Terciero fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nimbus 2000's protests and gave Americo Terciero a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Reno in the 84th minute of play forced Nimbus 2000's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Reno in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Lehen saved Nimbus 2000 from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Paulo Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angostura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Tiniebra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Gabirel kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Angostura FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Angostura FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
