In the 22nd minute, Aaron Bartoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Bero's late challenge caught a Los Paqueros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Bero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ichigualasto AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ricardo Bero hit a great ball. Nicolas Santiago struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nereo Ponciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ichigualasto AFC. Nereo Ponciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Justino Bibiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Txurio in the 40th minute of play. If Aaron Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Santiago made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Aaron Bartoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Bibiano was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game.
