Simon Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Higinio Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Jenaro got free with Higinio Lluis in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Normandy FC's goalkeeper Higinio Lluis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Jenaro. Higinio Lluis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Firme in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Normandy FC booed when EL GRANATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Mantzio in the 16th minute of play. Higinio Lluis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Jenaro's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 22 played minutes Normandy FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Natanael. With a little luck, Normandy FC's Higinio Lluis got control of the ball when Cristo Porfirio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Simon Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teodoro Sein came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the EL GRANATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Sein couldn't finish the play. EL GRANATE's Eriberto Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Mantzio in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Isidro Uzuri threw the ball into play from the sideline. EL GRANATE's Hugo Havier quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Lobo during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moises Lobo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Jenaro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, EL GRANATE's Dalmacio Salvator got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Saverio Mantzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Saverio Mantzio took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Eriberto Roldan to make any attempt to save it. After 64 minutes, Simon Jenaro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Normandy FC's Higinio Lluis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of EL GRANATE booed when Normandy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. EL GRANATE's Hugo Havier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isidro Uzuri in the 75 minute of the game. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Simon Jenaro sped through Normandy FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Higinio Lluis. Higinio Lluis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Beliran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Simon Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL GRANATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Jenaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Lluis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Higinio Lluis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that EL GRANATE were the better team. EL GRANATE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
