Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Goi in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Maria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Agustin Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Patricio Urdaspal fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caspalá FC's protests and gave Patricio Urdaspal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caspalá FC's Patricio Urdaspal got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Cristo Berdaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Muc was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Baldomero Goi took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Maria. Elias Maria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Henrico got free with Ubaldo Muc in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ubaldo Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Cristobal Veronica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Elias Maria made a huge save. In the 55thth minute of the game Leonides Henrico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caspalá FC's Ubaldo Muc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Caspalá FC's Leopoldo Abreu got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ubaldo Muc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Berdaitz went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th match minute, Forestal Pico AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Vitin to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Veronica might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Maria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Veronica ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Forestal Pico AFC's zone, Baldomero Goi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Maria came out of the goal and Baldomero Goi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Camilo Vitin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. The supporters of Caspalá FC booed when Forestal Pico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caspalá FC's Baldomero Goi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leonides Henrico came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Forestal Pico AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Henrico couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Henrico in the 84th minute of play. When Cristobal Veronica came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Caspalá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Veronica couldn't finish the play. Cristobal Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Maria having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
