Paulino Lizbeth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Cristobal Abarca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aaron Birjaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Cordero in the 16th minute of the match. Cristobal Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Paulino Lizbeth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Cristobal Abarca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aaron Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Gurutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Lazo FC defense, Paulino Lizbeth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Abarca. The Lazo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Abarca should have stopped the shot. Cristobal Abarca was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabricio Maurin. Eriberto Gurutz's late challenge caught a Jumial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Gurutz helped the player get up and apologised. Eriberto Gurutz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jose Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jumial's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Demario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Abarca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabricio Maurin lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Andres Rios shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Ipar in the 37th minute of play forced Jumial's goalkeeper Aaron Birjaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Abarca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Demario's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Lazo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Jose Demario scored to the left of an out of position Cristobal Abarca, making the score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Demario to make the kick off. Aaron Birjaio made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Silvano Cordero sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Abarca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Demario went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute Jimeno Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cristobal Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Gurutz got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th match minute, Lazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Demario in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Abarca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Silvano Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Demario in the 77th minute of play forced Lazo FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Lazo FC's Manuel Ipar made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Birjaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristobal Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Demario in the 90th minute of the match. Aureliano Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Abarca having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Lazo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Demario came free, but Cristobal Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
