When Timoteo Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the El Guapo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Nisio couldn't finish the play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes El Guapo got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Xacintu. Nestor Montel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Gaston Honesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Guapo's Casimiro Reynardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Honesto in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Omar Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacale Punta al 09-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Musko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Timoteo Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Sacale Punta al 09-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Guapo the free kick. The supporters of El Guapo booed when Sacale Punta al 09-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Ruperto Oliverio put in a rough tackle. In the 70th minute, one of Sacale Punta al 09-12-18:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sacale Punta al 09-12-18. In the 77th match minute, El Guapo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Quilino to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Montel, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 90 minutes of play El Guapo's Eleuterio Quilino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to El Guapo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eleuterio Quilino hit a great ball. Omar Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Casimiro Reynardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Guapo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sacale Punta al 09-12-18's much stronger midfield.
