Silvano Cordero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Emilio Clis made a huge save. Gogo Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Manuel Ipar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 22 minutes into the match, Antonio Monte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Abarca. Hugo Efren hit a great ball. With a little luck, Khazad's Emilio Clis got control of the ball when Silvano Cordero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Lazo FC's Cristobal Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Monte in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Khazad booed when Lazo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Aureo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Cristobal Abarca made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Lazo FC's Silvano Cordero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Clis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Silvano Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazo FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Khazad to leave the ground with a draw.
