With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Cristos in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Abarca saved Lazo FC from getting behind. Silvano Cordero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Albano Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Manuel Ipar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Lazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Ciceron to maneuver through the defense. In the 24thth minute of the game Bonifacio Cristos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lazo FC's Cristobal Abarca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Silvano Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Cavanagh's goalkeeper Albano Rudolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Gurutz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Cristos in the 36th minute of play forced Lazo FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lazo FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Americo Hever hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Ipar in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Rudolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 46 minutes, Bonifacio Cristos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavanagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Cristos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Ipar was the one to do the kick off. Albano Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ipar in the 52nd minute of play. Albano Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Cavanagh's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Ipar came free, but Albano Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Hilario Tirso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavanagh's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andres Rios was slow to take the kick. During this time Lazo FC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Lazo FC's zone, Bonifacio Cristos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Abarca came out of the goal and Bonifacio Cristos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Hever's late challenge caught a Cavanagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Hever helped the player get up and apologised. 83 minutes into the game, Lazo FC's Silvano Cordero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albano Rudolfo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 96th minute, Silvano Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lazo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Lazo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cavanagh for a fine match.
