Spectators: 7196 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bonifacio Videl kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Barraquero got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Videl. In the 4th minute Emanuel Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Barraquero's goalkeeper Gabriel Raebert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Cordero. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Gurutz during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eriberto Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Bonifacio Videl came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Barraquero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Videl couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Lazo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Valerio came free, but Cristobal Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Ipar in the 29th minute of play forced Barraquero's goalkeeper Gabriel Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazo FC's Cristobal Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Videl in the 32nd minute of play. Cristobal Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Videl in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Barraquero's Bonifacio Videl made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barraquero's Gabriel Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ipar in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Tino in the 48th minute of play forced Lazo FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emanuel Valerio struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Cristobal Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barraquero. If Rodrigo Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barraquero's Bonifacio Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lazo FC were furious when Honorio Dorio was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 60 played minutes Lazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Dorio. The nice shot from Bonifacio Videl in the 62ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cristobal Abarca had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Eriberto Gurutz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Valerio in the 64th minute of play forced Lazo FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Barraquero's Bonifacio Videl in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lazo FC's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Barraquero's Alfredo Lorencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Abarca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Lazo FC's zone, Bonifacio Videl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Abarca came out of the goal and Bonifacio Videl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Emanuel Valerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Abarca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Lazo FC's Cristobal Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Lazo FC from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes, Bonifacio Videl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barraquero and the Lazo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Barraquero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Videl to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lazo FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Eriberto Gurutz hit a great ball. Barraquero played a much better game than Lazo FC and deserved their victory. The Lazo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
