When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Feliciano Edorta took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sebastian Ihazintu to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Feliciano Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Antonio's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Edorta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Ihazintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Feliciano Edorta could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Sebastian Ihazintu however easily saved by the left post. When Oscar Artaldo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Antonio's protests and gave Oscar Artaldo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, San Antonio's Oscar Artaldo got a free kick in the 20th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Honorato Silbestre put in a rough tackle. Silvestre Sayvion placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Eleuterio Elorri hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Sebastian Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Mergildo in the 40th minute of play. Eusebio Mergildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Ihazintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Mergildo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serranos FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Ihazintu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Raimundo Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raimundo Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Geronimo Raymon came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the San Antonio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Raymon couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Mergildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Ihazintu was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Sebastian Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Mergildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Abascal in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Serranos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Ursino to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serranos FC's Sebastian Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Mergildo in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Marco Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serranos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Gotzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Braulio Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Antonio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
