Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carolo Buinton made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Lalla during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Guampacha:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stinkfoot:s goal. Nemesio Gurutz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Stinkfoot got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Gurutz. Bonifacio Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bonifacio Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Omar Luix came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Guampacha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Luix couldn't finish the play. Guampacha's Bonifacio Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Selmo in the 32nd minute of play. If Candido Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Haimar having to interfere. With his leg Eduardo Eneko managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Guampacha's Omar Luix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stinkfoot's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feliberto Aztore was slow to take the kick. During this time Guampacha's players had a chance to rest. Feliberto Aztore made a great header on Guampacha's corner, it was just that Stinkfoot's Eduardo Eneko managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stinkfoot's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
