Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enrique Transito started the match with the kick off. Gavino Millrick's late challenge caught a Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Millrick helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mogotes's Gavino Millrick got a free kick in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Mogotes's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Cordeal came free, but Basilio Sol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Futbol Club Rio Cuarto booed when Mogotes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Cordeal in the 23rd minute of play forced Mogotes's goalkeeper Basilio Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Cordeal took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Sol. Basilio Sol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Enrique Transito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Eulalio Inge made a huge save. After 34 played minutes Futbol Club Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Silviano. Enrique Transito was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mogotes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anibal Frans was slow to take the kick. During this time Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Anibal Frans almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mogotes's Basilio Sol did a great save. Jonatan Cordeal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Cordeal was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Mogotes defense, Jonatan Cordeal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Sol. The Mogotes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Sol should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Basilio Sol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonatan Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Sol having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mogotes's zone, Flavio Solustiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Sol came out of the goal and Flavio Solustiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Matias Che got a free kick in the 68th minute. Godfredo Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Sol having to make a save. Mogotes's Basilio Sol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Cordeal in the 74th minute of play. Basilio Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jonatan Cordeal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Transito in the 86th minute of play forced Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Eulalio Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enrique Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Inge having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Mogotes's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Cordeal came free, but Basilio Sol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes, Flavio Solustiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Club Rio Cuarto and the Mogotes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mogotes booed when Futbol Club Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Solustiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
