Stinkfoot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Petrigai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Arnulfo Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Eneko having to interfere. Gilberto Feliu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Candido Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Selmo in the 31st minute of the match. Miguel Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Selmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Marcelo Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stinkfoot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Candido Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Selmo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Stinkfoot booed when PumaTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Quirce in the 60th minute of play forced PumaTeam's goalkeeper Miguel Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Arnulfo Petrigai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candido Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Kepa having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Isidoro Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Kepa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PumaTeam were furious when Alfonso Resto was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. If Marcelo Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, PumaTeam's Gilberto Feliu got a free kick in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Isidoro Erroman threw the ball into play from the sideline. PumaTeam's Danilo Henry quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Miguel Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Gurutz in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the PumaTeam players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stinkfoot.
