Spectators: 7317 (Terracing: 5489, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alonzo Gorosti started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Gorosti in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Gervaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the game, Felipe Mel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Batista. Felipe Mel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emilio Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Mel went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hernando Muñiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Batista made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Felipe Mel sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Mel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilio Batista. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. After some careless play in the Potrero AFC defense, Alonzo Gorosti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Gervaso. The Potrero AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Gervaso should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Potrero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Senin came free, but Pastor Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Elias Senin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Gervaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Gregorio Guifre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Batista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Potrero AFC's Felipe Mel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 38 minutes into the match, Potrero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Gorosti came free, but Pastor Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Jairo Aznaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, MDQ Futbol Club's Oscar Onofre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Gervaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Emilio Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Guifre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernando Muñiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wen Shu Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, MDQ Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Mel came free, but Emilio Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Batista came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Potrero AFC's Felipe Mel. But to his dismay, Felipe Mel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Oscar Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Hernando Muñiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernando Muñiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, MDQ Futbol Club's Alonzo Gorosti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Gervaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Gorosti got free with Pastor Gervaso in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes MDQ Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Gorosti. When Potrero AFC's Gregorio Guifre in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MDQ Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. After 71 minutes of play, MDQ Futbol Club's Luisito Oier made it 5-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Gervaso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Mel in the 79th minute of play forced MDQ Futbol Club's goalkeeper Emilio Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisito Oier during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luisito Oier hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Hernando Muñiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Batista having to interfere. In the 89th minute Gregorio Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Potrero AFC's Jairo Aznaro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luisito Oier in the 91 minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, MDQ Futbol Club's Alonzo Gorosti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-6. MDQ Futbol Club were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Potrero AFC's much stronger midfield.
