Gregorio Guifre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clemente Nofre came out and tried to block the shot, but Gregorio Guifre slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 15th minute. Apuyaco FC's Clemente Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Guifre in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Damaso Dolcet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Gervaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 28 minutes into the game, Gregorio Guifre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Clemente Nofre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Dolcet in the 32nd minute of play forced Potrero AFC's goalkeeper Pastor Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Dolcet hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Apuyaco FC's Damaso Dolcet got a free kick in the 40th minute. Hernando Muñiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damaso Dolcet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gregorio Guifre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernando Muñiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Clemente Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernando Muñiz in the 71st minute of the match. Felipe Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Clemente Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Gregorio Guifre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potrero AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. 89 minutes into the game, Camilo Quinten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Clemente Nofre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gregorio Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potrero AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
