Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teo Loramendi started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Aldo Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteverde's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Mincho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitório Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitório Messias went to the wrong direction when Severo Luzaide was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jacinto Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Loramendi in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Loramendi in the 11th minute of play forced Monteverde's goalkeeper Jacinto Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Teo Loramendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacinto Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Loramendi in the 23rd minute of play. Jacinto Macario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Loramendi went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Florentino Katia fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteverde's protests and gave Florentino Katia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Florentino Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Loramendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Macario having to interfere. Jacinto Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Sabino in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. The Monteverde players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sundblad were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Hermelando to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. After 52 played minutes, Sundblad's Cirilo Jakes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Macario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sundblad reached it. After a rather tough play, Monteverde's Albino Gabirel got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Brion came free, but Jacinto Macario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Monteverde's Jacinto Macario got control of the ball when Teo Loramendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, Sundblad's Teo Loramendi made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Macario was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute, Sundblad's Adan Isias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Sundblad's Teodoro Handi was substituted for Sixto Gabirel. In the 80th minute, Blas Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vitório Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adan Isias fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundblad's protests and gave Adan Isias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Adan Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match, Teo Loramendi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacinto Macario was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sundblad's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
