Ezequiel Telmo came out of the goal and Ezequiel Matia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Nofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Javiero in the 10th minute. Cipriano Blasi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clemente Nofre came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Blasi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Omar Acevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. PICHULEUFU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apuyaco FC the free kick. Omar Acevedo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Apuyaco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Arnulfo Lehoi scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Nofre, making the score, 2-0. Clemente Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Damaso Dolcet put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ezequiel Telmo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Clemente Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Blasi in the 66th minute of play.
