With an all-out effort, Potrero AFC's Ezequiel Telmo threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Mel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 16 minutes into the match, Felipe Mel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C.A. PICHULEUFU's Ezequiel Telmo. Ezequiel Telmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gregorio Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Guifre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Potrero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Lehoi came free, but Pastor Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Mel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Telmo made a huge save. Gregorio Guifre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Telmo having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Hernando Muñiz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lehoi in the 44th minute of play forced Potrero AFC's goalkeeper Pastor Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Guifre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Blasi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fermin Bidari charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Bidari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, one of C.A. PICHULEUFU:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. PICHULEUFU. Norberto Millano charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Millano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norberto Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, C.A. PICHULEUFU's Mauro Roland broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ezequiel Telmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernando Muñiz went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. PICHULEUFU! Camilo Quinten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Telmo having to interfere. Ezequiel Telmo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Potrero AFC's Gregorio Guifre. But to his dismay, Gregorio Guifre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 94th minute Camilo Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Javiero in the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Guifre in the 97th minute of play forced C.A. PICHULEUFU's goalkeeper Ezequiel Telmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 99 minutes into the game, Potrero AFC's Camilo Quinten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Telmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Potrero AFC had played much better football throughout.
