Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anier Pedroso started the match with the kick off. Makallé's Adrian Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Sadurni in the 5th minute of play. Adrian Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Raymundo in the 9th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Angel Raymundo sped through Makallé's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Maties. After 18 minutes, Salvador Escobar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Makallé and the Humaitá players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Raymundo in the 19th minute of the match. Angel Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Adrian Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Kepa came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Makallé's Rigoberto Conrao. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Conrao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Adrian Maties showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Raymundo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Maties saved Makallé from getting behind. Angel Raymundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastor Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Adrian Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Raymundo in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Raymundo to make the kick off. Federico Chepe tried in the 52nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Adrian Maties a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. 55 minutes into the game, Pastor Quilino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Adrian Maties was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angel Raymundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Maties read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Rigoberto Conrao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Makallé's goalkeeper Adrian Maties had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Quilino. 82 minutes into the match, Makallé's goalkeeper Adrian Maties had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Quilino. Abelardo Euloxu's late challenge caught a Makallé's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Euloxu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Humaitá getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Abelardo Euloxu hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Angel Raymundo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adrian Maties. The goal made the score 1-4. Pastor Quilino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Adrian Maties made a huge save. Humaitá's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
