After 18 minutes of play, Scaloneta's Erasmo Petrigai made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Kepa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donato Bermund might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigio Kepa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Bermund ran back to his position shaking his head. Angel Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Humaitá's zone, Erasmo Petrigai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Kepa came out of the goal and Erasmo Petrigai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Sanson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yunus Sekib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Raymundo in the 51st minute of play. Moises Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Remigio Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Desiderio Ramone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Humaitá and the Scaloneta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Humaitá got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Ramone. Humaitá's Remigio Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Lizar in the 62nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Humaitá:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Scaloneta:s goal. The referee gave Scaloneta a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raimundo Ipar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Humaitá's Remigio Kepa. 4-0. Yunus Sekib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Quilino in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Humaitá's goalkeeper Remigio Kepa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remigio Kepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Leon Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match.
