In the 21st match minute, Defensores de Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Garaona to maneuver through the defense. If Erasmo Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Scaloneta's zone, Danilo Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Sekib came out of the goal and Danilo Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albino Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Desiderio Escobar made a huge save. The Defensores de Belgrano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Scaloneta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
