Honorio Quirce was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Concepción's Erubiel Ixidor got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erubiel Ixidor scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Abascal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomás Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 24 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Matias Bernaldo. Benito Blasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Roman Iratxo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Blasco got free with Roman Iratxo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Concepción's Roman Iratxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Concepción from getting a goal against them. Norberto Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Ixidor in the 37th minute of the match. Concepción's Erubiel Ixidor got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Concepción were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Iratxo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Maximiliano Quilino came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Vitaminaas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Quilino couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Vicente Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. Erubiel Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Abascal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción's zone, Benito Blasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Iratxo came out of the goal and Benito Blasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Quilino in the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Quilino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Iratxo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Gerardo Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Bernaldo to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Concepción had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
