After a defensive mix-up in El Barza FC's zone, Claudio Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Pirmin came out of the goal and Claudio Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to El Barza FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mario Tibalt hit a great ball. Roque Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Iratxo having to interfere. Mario Tibalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Roman Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Barza FC's Roque Mel got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Cecilio Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Concepción's Erubiel Ixidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Pirmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roman Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cecilio Pacho made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Erubiel Ixidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Barza FC's Oscar Pirmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mario Tibalt hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play, Concepción's Erubiel Ixidor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Pirmin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Gerardo Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Mario Tibalt from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Roman Iratxo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Matias Bernaldo's late challenge caught a El Barza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concepción's Roman Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Pacho in the 64th minute of play. Roque Mel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Roman Iratxo made a huge save. Oscar Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
