Roman Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gerardo Karmel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Gerardo Karmel got a free kick in the 26th minute. Arsenio Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Tobar's goalkeeper Amador Venceslao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Polentzi. Arsenio Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Gerardo Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Vargas in the 42nd minute of play. Arsenio Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Roman Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Ixidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Concepción's Gerardo Karmel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Venceslao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 60 minutes into the game, Prudencio Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roman Iratxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute Claudio Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Venceslao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Concepción's Roman Iratxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Concepción from getting a goal against them. Gerardo Karmel's late challenge caught a Tobar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Karmel helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Karmel. After a defensive mix-up in Tobar's zone, Erubiel Ixidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Venceslao came out of the goal and Erubiel Ixidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Erubiel Ixidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
