Omar Vergaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jimmie Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Luciano Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Omar Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Damaso Belmiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nueva Pretoria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batea AFC the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Nueva Pretoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. Nueva Pretoria's Guillermo Ramond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Pretoria from getting a goal against them. Jimmie Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th match minute, Nueva Pretoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Tello to maneuver through the defense. Omar Vergaray took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmie Henriksson. Jimmie Henriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Gutierrez in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmie Henriksson saved Batea AFC from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Vergaray to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Bernardo Castulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Ramond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Batea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Vergaray came free, but Jimmie Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Maximino Senon put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Nueva Pretoria's Florentino Quinton got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jimmie Henriksson. Nueva Pretoria's Luciano Gutierrez got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jimmie Henriksson made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Omar Vergaray recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimmie Henriksson. Omar Vergaray showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Batea AFC's Jimmie Henriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Batea AFC from getting a goal against them. Jimmie Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Luciano Gutierrez sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Henriksson having to interfere.
