Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) Lázaro Oriche started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Erubiel Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 minutes, Claudio Polentzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción and the Batea AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Ixidor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Claudio Polentzi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jimmie Henriksson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 20 played minutes Batea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Castulo. After 32 minutes of play, Concepción's Claudio Polentzi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmie Henriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Polentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Evelio Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Henriksson having to interfere. Jimmie Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Claudio Polentzi sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Polentzi to make the kick off. When the referee ended the match the Concepción players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
