Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldomero Asur started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Juan Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Euloxu in the 5th minute of play forced Icaño FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Baldomero Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pastor Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Columbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Icaño FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Academia de Juarez the free kick. After 19 played minutes Icaño FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Columbo. In the 20th minute of the match Nicasio Iruinea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgardo Tulio skillfully saved the ball. Juan Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juan Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Academia de Juarez's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baldomero Asur 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, La Academia de Juarez's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Asur came free, but Agustin Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, La Academia de Juarez's Pastor Euloxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Tulio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonatan Mambru's late challenge caught a La Academia de Juarez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Mambru helped the player get up and apologised. Jonatan Mambru hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Icaño FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Columbo. Eliseo Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Icaño FC's zone, Juan Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Tulio came out of the goal and Juan Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Juan Estevon made the kick off in the second half. La Academia de Juarez's Nicasio Iruinea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgardo Tulio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee gave Icaño FC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faustino Martxot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Academia de Juarez's Agustin Montel. 2-0. Baltasar Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Columbo was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd match minute, Icaño FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Columbo to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 77 in the game by Juan Estevon from a close distance when the talented Edgardo Tulio managed to make a qualified save. Icaño FC's players were relieved. 83 minutes into the match, La Academia de Juarez's Baltasar Soter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Tulio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. La Academia de Juarez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicasio Iruinea in the 85th minute. The corner ended in Nicasio Iruinea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Icaño FC's Edgardo Tulio did a great save. Edgardo Tulio was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Eliseo Ilixo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Ilixo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 94 minutes into the match, Icaño FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Tulio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Estevon. Eliseo Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Tulio having to interfere. Juan Estevon had several of the Icaño FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 97 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Edgardo Tulio as he didn't even see the shot coming. La Academia de Juarez played a much better game than Icaño FC and deserved their victory. The Icaño FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
