In the 7th match minute, Icaño FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Columbo to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Pieres's Christian Serapio to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgardo Tulio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Icaño FC's Edgardo Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Piorno in the 11th minute of play. Domingos Otsoko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Tulio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Otsoko went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Baldomero Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Baldomero Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icaño FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Benet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Pieres's Domingos Otsoko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Tulio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 43rd minute of the match Erubiel Tome completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erubiel Tome a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Erubiel Tome hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Baldomero Asur charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Asur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 55th minute, Jonatan Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebio Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Pieres got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Romero. A hard shot 65 in the game by Constantino Luar from a close distance when the talented Marcial Benet managed to make a qualified save. Pieres's players were relieved. Edgardo Tulio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Piorno in the 70th minute of the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pieres's goalkeeper Marcial Benet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Icaño FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Piorno came free, but Edgardo Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Domingos Otsoko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Tulio. Icaño FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Otsoko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 88 minutes into the game, Celso Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pieres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icaño FC the free kick. In the 88th minute, Celso Iban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Jonatan Piorno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Tulio. Icaño FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Piorno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pieres had won after a very even match.
