The supporters of Rosso FC booed when Morenillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Gomesano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Rosso FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Errapel. In the 52nd minute, Mauro Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Chanchai Mazzoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Dominguez's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Morenillo's Chanchai Mazzoni got control of the ball when Ezequiel Arixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gilberto Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rosso FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
