Luis Urtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Fernandes having to interfere. Maximino Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Marques in the 61st minute of play. Club Atletico Parana's Ezequiel Senio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Parana's Ruben Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Umea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Marques in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Umea saved Play Off Demon from getting behind. Alfredo Ticho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Freddy Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Luis Urtun notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atletico Parana's Freddy Fernandes. Freddy Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddy Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Emanuel Raebert came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Play Off Demon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Raebert couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Play Off Demon had won after a very even match.
