Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuel Gorri took the kick off in the first half of the match. Samuel Gorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Orlando Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Pirmin's late challenge caught a Maza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Pirmin helped the player get up and apologised. Sabagasta's Severino Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Gorri in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Sabagasta's Teo Ramirez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albino Todor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Maza defense, Jacinto Abeijon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Todor. The Maza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Todor should have stopped the shot. After 21 played minutes Maza got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Osmundo. Jacinto Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Sabagasta a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isidro Oliviero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maza's Albino Todor. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Abeijon was the one to do the kick off. Orlando Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Severino Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Claude was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabagasta the free kick. Ambrosio Claude hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes Sabagasta got a freekick which was hit by Teo Ramirez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Abeijon in the 70th minute of play forced Maza's goalkeeper Albino Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Abeijon in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Todor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Orlando Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Abeijon in the 78th minute of play forced Maza's goalkeeper Albino Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jacinto Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Todor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teo Ramirez in the 83rd minute. Ambrosio Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Havier having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Abeijon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Todor was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The Sabagasta fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Sabagasta's Jacinto Abeijon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jacinto Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Todor having to interfere. The Sabagasta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sabagasta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
