Clemente Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Theobald, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Daniel Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curapaligüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Veto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robustiano Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the Curapaligüé players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
