The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejo Koldo was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Henric got free with Everardo Galo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everardo Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Koldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frente de Izquierda's goalkeeper Everardo Galo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Romeo Franco came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Frente de Izquierda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Franco couldn't finish the play. Fernan Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Celedonio Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Azubeli charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Azubeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Frente de Izquierda booed when Junín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Frente de Izquierda's Bernardino Celino tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
