If Dante Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Mon during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Schiffner's Gonzalo Mon got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Epifanio Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sitrack's protests and gave Epifanio Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Sitrack got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Azevedo. Guillermo Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes, Schiffner's Timoteo Herena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillermo Leguizamón came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Schiffner reached it. Schiffner's Lorenzo Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Lia in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jacobo Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Martin Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Ermano's late challenge caught a Sitrack's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Ermano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Schiffner getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Samuel Ermano hit a great ball. Eustacio Venceslas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lorenzo Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eustacio Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sitrack booed when Schiffner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Schiffner's Oscar Tono got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Cresconio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Leguizamón. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute Oscar Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Schiffner got a freekick which was hit by Iker Porfirio. In the 62nd minute, Sitrack's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oscar Tono fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Tono in the 64th minute of play forced Sitrack's goalkeeper Guillermo Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Schiffner's Guillermo Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Leguizamón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Schiffner's Lorenzo Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Cresconio in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Martin Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sitrack's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Cresconio in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Maureo saved Schiffner from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Martin Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sitrack's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sitrack's zone, Oscar Tono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Leguizamón came out of the goal and Oscar Tono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Schiffner's Guillermo Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Leguizamón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
