Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Curapaligüé's Daniel Theobald started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavino Jerold made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Samuel Ermano immediately put the ball in play. After 7 played minutes Curapaligüé got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Bermudez. Curapaligüé's Lino Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Jerold in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Curapaligüé getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Fabricio Berenguer hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Theobald in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Maureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lorenzo Maureo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Curapaligüé's Daniel Theobald. But to his dismay, Daniel Theobald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Guillermo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Flores having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Domingos Blasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curapaligüé and the Schiffner players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Curapaligüé! The referee gave Schiffner a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gavino Jerold, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curapaligüé's Lino Flores. 1-1. Guillermo Franco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Guillermo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schiffner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Tono to strike the kick off in the second half. Lino Flores came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Schiffner's Guillermo Franco. But to his dismay, Guillermo Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gavino Jerold made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Samuel Ermano however managed to control. After 69 played minutes Schiffner got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Franco. After 73 played minutes Schiffner got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Jerold. Schiffner's Lorenzo Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Schiffner from getting a goal against them. After 77 minutes, Constantino Tolino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curapaligüé and the Schiffner players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnoldo Gurutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curapaligüé's Constantino Tolino got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Constantino Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curapaligüé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Constantino Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lorenzo Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Schiffner booed when Curapaligüé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Schiffner fans cheered their team off the field, for while Curapaligüé had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
