A collision led to Pirula F.C getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cristo Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. Danilo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, Pirula F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Benino to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ruperto Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chañar's zone, Cesar Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Leizarraga came out of the goal and Cesar Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Rodriguez having to interfere. Edgard Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Beturian in the 17th minute of play. Eulalio Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Edgard Rodriguez made a huge save. Andres Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Rodriguez having to interfere. Cesar Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Eulalio Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Edgard Rodriguez made a huge save. Eulalio Laurendi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Rodriguez having to make a save. Pirula F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Danilo Beturian scored to the left of an out of position Edgard Rodriguez, making the score, 2-0. Chañar's Ruperto Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Gorka in the 38th minute of play. Edgard Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Beturian in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Beturian to make the kick off. Danilo Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Edgard Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Leizarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Gorka in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pirula F.C defense, Danilo Beturian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Rodriguez. The Pirula F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Rodriguez should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Beturian in the 85th minute of play forced Pirula F.C's goalkeeper Edgard Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cesar Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirula F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Leizarraga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pirula F.C's Aaron Gorka in the 95th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ruperto Leizarraga was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chañar through an amazing save. Ruperto Leizarraga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Qwinton in the 96th minute. Chañar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
