The audience was convinced that Guaberto Tauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Bieito was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Silvestre Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Bieito having to interfere. When Atilano Amaya fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrutó's protests and gave Atilano Amaya a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Arrutó got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Amaya. Moises Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marcelo Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primitivo Argi charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Argi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Primitivo Argi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 2-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Guaberto Tauro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Tauro made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Garaile in the 54th minute of play forced Arrutó's goalkeeper Marcelo Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Sugar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Remigio Brun struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Elpidio Remicio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrutó. 70 minutes into the match, Segurola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Brun came free, but Elpidio Remicio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Arrutó's Remigio Brun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elpidio Remicio. Elpidio Remicio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 81 minutes into the match, Arrutó's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Garaile came free, but Marcelo Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segurola AFC's Antonio Rocendo suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arrutó's Atilano Amaya got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Atilano Amaya off the ground. A collision led to Arrutó getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Atilano Amaya hit a great ball. Moises Garaile succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. Segurola AFC's Moises Garaile got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Moises Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Segurola AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arrutó had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
