Laboulaye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Luciano Martino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Fidele. Barrancas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Martino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Felix Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Danel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Laboulaye's Claudio Mel got a free kick in the 44th minute. Felix Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cipriano Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Peruanton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Felix Eliazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Barrancas's goalkeeper Fausto Fidele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Martino. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Aurelio Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancas's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Jokin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Danel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 minutes, Isidoro Egoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrancas and the Laboulaye players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elias Loren got in the 81st minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Fausto Fidele and thus it was 0-4. Luciano Martino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Fausto Fidele made a huge save. Luciano Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Fidele having to interfere. Fausto Fidele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Peruanton in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 100thth minute of the game Haroldo Peruanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrancas's Fausto Fidele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laboulaye's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
