Edgard Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Garaile, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Octavio Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Elpidio Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Remicio having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Moises Garaile notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of San La Muerte's Edgard Gaitan. Edgard Gaitan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guaberto Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, San La Muerte's Octavio Rio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elpidio Remicio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Segurola AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Tauro. 38 minutes into the match, Segurola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Rio came free, but Elpidio Remicio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Guaberto Tauro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Segurola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Tauro couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Rio made a kick off. Segurola AFC's Silvestre Sugar got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, San La Muerte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Tuste to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes San La Muerte got a freekick which was hit by Armando Txaran. 56 minutes into the match, San La Muerte's goalkeeper Edgard Gaitan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Garaile. Elpidio Remicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San La Muerte's Octavio Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segurola AFC's Elpidio Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Rio in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of San La Muerte booed when Segurola AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Llorian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elpidio Remicio. Segurola AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th match minute, San La Muerte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. Moises Garaile struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Edgard Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segurola AFC. Armando Txaran hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Moises Garaile came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Segurola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Garaile couldn't finish the play. Octavio Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Segurola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Bordat came free, but Elpidio Remicio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Moises Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segurola AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Garaile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Segurola AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
