Spectators: 7305 (Terracing: 5480, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Felix Eliazar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Modesto Salbatore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 2nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fausto Fidele. Barrancas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ermegildo Ramond charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Ramond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Monserrat got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Ramond. Domingos Froila, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Monserrat's Venancio Montrell got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Venancio Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Gerazan in the 15th minute of play. Fausto Fidele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Monserrat's Leandro Bidun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Eliazar in the 22nd minute of play. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Monserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Eliazar came free, but Leandro Bidun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Barrancas booed when Monserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Ursino to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aurelio Jokin came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Barrancas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Jokin couldn't finish the play. Fausto Fidele was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Elpidio Ursino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio Ursino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 64th minute, Elpidio Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alejo Javiero fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas's protests and gave Alejo Javiero a yellow card for diving instead. Alejo Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Barrancas defense, Cecilio Gerazan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Fidele. The Barrancas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Fidele should have stopped the shot. Marcelino Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Barrancas's Fausto Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Ursino in the 73rd minute of play. Alejo Javiero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Leandro Bidun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Fidele having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Gerazan got free with Fausto Fidele in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes Monserrat got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Montrell. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Jokin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Bidun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Bidun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Eliazar in the 96th minute of the match.
