Ciro Casomiro ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Nutrias Carenciadas's zone, Conrado Serafo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Oliverio came out of the goal and Conrado Serafo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Abelardo Indalecio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robustiano Oliverio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Estefan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Serafo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Oliverio saved Nutrias Carenciadas from getting behind. After 37 minutes, Conrado Serafo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Nutrias Carenciadas's Robustiano Oliverio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Serafo to strike the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute.
